I'm currently stuck at a dorm school. Have been for the past 6 days.

Argh how the hell do oyu cope with the strss of haivng extremely limited internet acces? I'm gonna be stuck here for the next 3 years till I graduate. :|


I suppose I won't see you guys much anymore...

go out and meet people in your school/neighbourhood. go out and socialize/learn what life is all about ...you'll have plenty of time to surf the net when you're my age :)

the issue with internet access isnt that you have limited bandwidth, it's that most websites are blocked by the school?


oh and no one here ever tried to get rid of you ..you're entertaining with your propagandist tales of life in a totalitarian state ...most of the time. :)
 
Yes, I am socializing here, but.. Ah, every day I wake up at 5:30, shower, take roll call, go back, cahnge into uniform, eat, go to classes, get out 9 hours later, study, wash up, take roll call for an entire hour go to leep at 12..... ect.


It's like a frigging internment camp, with the teachers waving sticks and yelling at us foor an entire hour during roll call.


E=and by limited, I mean that I can't use the computer for more than 10 miutes maximum.
 
roll call , uniform ? it sounds more like military service. btw is it a uni or a boarding school ?.

I roll out of bed at the crack of noon. Stretch, scratch, take a leak. Then i sit on the internet for an hour then have breakfast at 1:00pm on the dot.

Yeah lifes tough but you just have to make the best of it!!

It's a dormitory school, and it's quite strict. If you kiss a girl, you get suspended. If you hold her hands, you get 10 penalty points (20= suspension)

Seriously, what the hell? For the first time in 3 years, my classes aren't divided by gender, and they do this. :(






Homosexuality will prolly equal expulsion,. btw, it's a "christian school":p
 
Why did you go there Numbers? Did your parents send you or was it your government making choices for you?

OH BOO HOO! I was at one for four years! We didn't even have internet in our rooms till I got there and installed a wireless router in the piano (so it'd be hidden!).


get real familiar with proxy servers....and if you're internet filter is the N2H2 bess, i can tell you how to beat it :)

my school was christian, we have church 6 days a week and had to wear suit/tie everyday as well as required sports. You're day was planed from 8am to 10pm.

Lol, same with us! Except that in our very barrck-like rooms (only beds and lockers) we aren't alowed to use electricaal equipmet thats more compliacted than a hair dryer.:D


Eh, I'm trying to borrow my father's laptop right now, and get a wireless adapter, to see if it works. :E

I'd get bored as hell in that enviroment. That won't be very easy doing that for three years. I'd probably get all paranoid with teachers watching and controlling me all the time, and not to mention the boredom. That would really change you.
 
Eh, I got in through a test. It's aone of the better schools in the country, and prolly it will help me get into a good uni. However, yes. This place is teh shit when it comes to boredom.

sounds repressive, but then again that's no real surprise

socialization is an important aspect of school life ..being confined to a room with little access to the outside world seems more like what they do at sanatorium rather than an educational institution ..are you sure your school uniform doesnt look like this?

Uniform is a black suit + tie with leather.
