the thing i hated in sp, probably the most, is the switching sides thing, its just retarded, what do u think?

IMO is not retarded cuz you see another view of the story

I dont undertand why so much people hate that

Playing as the Arbitor was one of my fave parts :)

I hated how the textures would freak out going between high and low LOD's it made the game look really really crappy. Its like they didn't even care that it did that, just rushed a half-ass product to get a hell of a lot of money off a name and not a game.

Yeah, all those delays and years of work must have just been spent bathing in money and drinking champagne.
The texture "freak-out" was a little annoying at times in the cutscenes, but I have the feeling its probably more hardware related than anything else. Theres always a point in game development where they just have to leave something as it is, knowing that it won't ruin the experience for all but the most anal of players.

Wasn't the entire game redone in a period of 9-10 months? I remember hearing something about that on the bonus DVD, but then again I wasn't really paying attention as my brother was the one who was watching it.

I think they were talking about the original Halo. When Microsoft stepped into the picture the entire game had to be retooled by the XBox launch date, which was less than a year away.

I haven't played it, but from what I've heard of the game, I'd much rather some sort of expansion where you play as the other side.

It was fun for a while but it totally sucked how they gave him the last level and the boss, instead of MC. Now MC doesn't seem as much of a badass anymore

A) Anyone who jumps out a freaking space station in low earth orbit, blows up a carrier on the way down, and then lands on his own ship is NEVER EVER NOT A BADASS.
B) It would seem that MC is the one who's gonna have the final battle on his hands anyway.

That part was so corny. It was more like a stupid action movie then a cool little Space Opera when that part happened.

Fair enough, but they could've at least given us another last level for the MC that was similar to the first game's end level. That was truly awesome.

Hah, the jump was my favorite scene in the whole damn game, and I don't think it at all breaks with MC's identity as an unstoppable killing machine.

The game and the storytelling was great, but yeah it'd be fun to play more as Master Chief, he's just cooler :)

I do see why they decided to tell some of it from the other side though, because it would be very difficult to get the impact they wanted without showing what was going on with the Covenant.
