Something is very wrong with Ravenholm

I'm almost to the end of Ravenholm (I think) where you have to kill a zombie with the black headcrabs all over it. Once you kill it their are some stairs (and the first three are broken on the short stairs). You go up the second stairs, the third and then open the door. Then you go up more stairs and then you come to a ladder. You go up the ladder and a hatch opens and you walk out onto a rooftop. The hatch closes and you cant go back down but there is a lever at the corner that is coneected to a pulley. Whenever I pull the lever nothing happens. No enemys of anykind attack. There is nothing I can do. I read a faq and it said that the Fast Zombies are supposed to start attcking while Father Gregori gets the thing on the pulley over to me. Does anyone know whats going on?

Probably an AI loading problem, trying starting ravenholm chapter again. Might work.

I have restarted and I would rather not do it a third time. Is there anyway to tell if it is an AI problem or if it is something else.

Maybe type ai_disable once, then again to turn it back on?

Check the console. There might be some errors and that may give an idea what the problem is. If worse comes to worse, you can post your save file and then we can get on the pulley and you can be on your way again.

AI_Disable both disables and enables AI.

Just try and go back a few saves/autosaves.

The idea is that father Grigori will be waiting on the opposite side of the fence. So until that, keep replaying from earlier and earlier saves.

Hey DA, same happened to me (I think). I tried lever wouldn't work. I just repostitioned myself a few times before it would pull. Did it work?

You aren't supposed to pull the lever (yet). Turn to your right (towards the fence) and Farthar G should be there. He'll tell you some stuff and run out of view. You must then hold off against alot of fast zombies until the tram on the pully comes.
