Something isnt right with the benchmark...

Im running a 2.4c p4 with 400mhz of 1024ram useing ati 4.8s with a 9800 pro. Before this update i was getting 34-35 fps with my settings on the 1024x768 4x 8x... now im getting 74....

How did it go from 34 to 74? Isnt that like impossible? Their has to be some fudgeing on something for it to go that high from one patch. Can people useing 9800 pros PLEASE post yer scores here so i can see if ive messed something up.

Athlon 64 3700+, 1 gig pc3200, 9800 pro 256.

Running at 1024x768 4xaa 8xaf, everything else high I got 73fps on vst. This is a lot higher than before, but CSS has reflected these changes for me. Also, there was 2 huge ERROR things by the fire.

:hmph: Mine starts off at 60; Vsync and then for the rest of the test it stays at 33.

Ok- Clearly im doing something wrong if rag's are almost the same as mine. Its just a moderatly overclocked powercolor radeon 9800 128meg.

The Vsync is off and its 1024x768 4x 8x.

Did some more tests.

This is at stock core 378 mem 337 powercolor 9800 pro 128.
Pentium 4.c 2.4 not over clocked

At 1600x1200 6x 16x=13.57
At 1600x1200 4x 8x= 27.51

At 1280x960 6x 16x= 43.75
At 1280x960 4x 8x = 55.39

At 1024x768 6x 16x=65.70
At 1024x768 4x 8x=73.16
At 1024x768 4x 8x VSYNC ON=60.84

Ok guys, i even reinstalled my darn 4.8's and made sure everything was on default.... Their has ither been a act of god of a performance increse..... OR their is something not right.

There is nothing wrong with your system. Since this update, my fps jump from 65fps to 80fps at 1600x1200 6xAA 16xAF

went from 30-60 fps to 80-100 (i have an X800XT, so i'm happy now)

Yes, but mayro gets incredibly worried and paranoid about things

Kinda just awe struck that they where able to pull off that many more FPS. lol

Perhaps you had the settings (aa/af) turned on in the 3D tab of the options for your card, and now they are off, that would have a big performance hit

Nope, Just had my friend with a 9600 xt and one with a regular 9800 try this. They are all getting some hella higher FPS.

Tell me what you guys need a picture of to show you that my settings are what im telling you. It cant just be me that got this huge increse. I havent changed anything! Im this close to reformating to make 100% sure that its from the patch.
