SONY Press Conference...

...was a decent-sized letdown. No talk of White Knight Chronicles, the Rockstar exclusive, Tears of Blood (or whatever), Heavy Rain, Afrika, FF vs. XIII, Killzone 2 (really), God of War 3 (really). Ugh. No big surprises?? Some cool functionality with the PSP and movies and TV and such, but not as much in the game department.

Totally stole the show with the LBP presentation of revenue/sales numbers. Best. Presentation. Ever. I will be considering this for EVERY presentation I do for my company now.

MAG sounds promising, but no ingame footage yet... The home/movies/tv integration with all those studios + the ability to rent sounds => than microsoft/netflix. God of war 3 wasn't a huge suprise, but of course it IS exclusive, and sure to be awesome. The final fantasy "bombshell" which honestly was MS's only good suprise, isn't much to flaunt considering it is STILL coming to the ps3. Gears of war and Resistance 2 are about on par with each other IMO, the cloverfield monster sequence squashed anything the brumack sequence brought to the table (imo)... As far as conferences, Sony's was the best, most entertaining, with the most exclusive titles if you ask me.

Not to mention DC universe and the agency.... No mmo's on the 360?

Biggest fail award goes to nintendo, sony has best of show in my book with some to still be desired, microsoft was just meh mostly showing cross platform games and stealing ideas from everone else (avaters = Mii, Lips = Singstar etc)

Sony was the second worst conference. Sure, their LBP presentation was neat and 10 second GoW3 teaser was alright. But everything else pretty much fell apart.

Worst part is that they never said anything about FF series.

They have known that games have been a sticking point with fans this last year and I still did not see enough of the exclusives that we all know they have coming. Really wanted to see some great new footage of all the stuff I previously mentioned (and much more). Oh well. Best conference, but not hard when the other 2 were so mediocre at best as well.

Quest for Booty looks kick-ass though. :E

MAG is going to be BF2 x 4...and not in a good way.

It's going to be mass disorganization, lag (at launch), tards and thing-for-yourself-ers.

I'd LOVE to be proved wrong though. I just don't think the community will have enough teamplayers to fill a game.
