Sony Vegas 8 troubles

Hi. I have finished my first video in sony vegas 8. It is seven minutes and fifty seconds long with two songs and text slides. I want to export it to my flash drive so i can put it on my mac and upload it to YouTube. I tried "Render As" in NTCV to my flash drive as a .avi. A video appears on my drive, however, it is very choppy, the song skips, and the whole thing is about 3 seconds long. I tried rendering it as another format but it does the same thing. I even tried publishing it to AcidPlanet but it does the exact same thing.

Is this something with the trial edition? Can someone help me please. :frown:

Dunno about your problem, I use Vegas 7 with the Windows Media 9 codec, default settings. Works fine.

What is the best format to render it in? I tried .avi but that made it 1.7 gb. I would like something Youtubeable.

you will need to put it into wmv or mpeg.

avi is to big but better quality
