I cant seem to grasp why people like the Wii so much. The graphics arent good, the games out now are pretty lame......(Zelda is the only one which is decent, but even that isnt great). The Wii sports are cool for about 5 minutes, then its just boring......

That's what happens with so many 360's. People stuff them into really tight areas and don't give them any breathing room. All of a sudden they are overheating and they have no idea why. In the computer business, these issues are known as PEBKAC or for those who are in the networking industry, a layer eight problem (if you don't get either of those, google them).

With all the rushing and mobs of people trying to get PS3's a few damaged ones are to be expected. Apart from massive ebay sales I see no need on getting a console on day #1 when the good games aren't even out yet.

Why would graphics make a difference?
Zelda is great, Wii sports kept me entertained for easily 3/4 hours with a single remote and some friends. Hand us two and that would be sweet. Boxing is great!! Red Steel and CoD3 look pretty good to.

Zelda is a GC port, Wii Sports is a collection of fun but shallow mini games, by most accounts Red Steel sucks and the Wii version of CoD3 is the worst of all the next-gen versions.

As far as I can tell the Wii won't have any quality exclusives until Mario Galaxy and Metroid come out. I mean people always say, "It's not about the graphics, it's the games" when defending the Wii but as of now the Wii launch has worse games than the PS3.

Once again, I'm not counting Zelda because that is a game that will also be available for GC shortly. If you count that you might as well count every PS2/PS1 game as a PS3 launch title. I also know that the Wii specializes in little "party" games like Wii sports, which I hate ... so if that's the main attraction of the console then I'm probably not the best person to judge it.

What does that have to do with ANYTHING? Plus the Zelda is very much designed for the Wii. It takes advantage of the remote to a very good extent. It isn't like a Ps2 game that has the exact same controls on the Ps3. I am in love with how you control everything. It's much more active(idk how to describe it) than using a controller.

I've heard a lot of the mixed reactions Red Steel.
And CoD3 is basically exactly the same as all other currently released CoD3 but takes advantage of the Wiimote, which takes some time to get use to but when done is much better. Oo wow not as good of graphics, get the **** over it. I could care less about them.

Maybe you should take the time to play the games. I do not have a GC. The GC does not take advantage of the wiimoe. Controls can make or break a game.
A sweet boxing game will probably come out in the Wii. With Wii Sports a simple boxing game is great, now imagine a game completely dedicated game really pushing the Wiimote. It would be so freakin awesome!
Boxing games on the Wii could easily become my favorite type of game. Wii Sports boxing is just fun and idk it just seems so new and so smart.

Maybe you shouldn't be juding the console, but rather the games that you have played for the console? I mean those define the console.
