LOL since when is it sonys choice to allow movies on a certain format?
 
Well, think about it. Pron is an amazingly huge business. Cutting its release from Blu-Ray will further the Blu-Ray's demise.
 
Well lets face it, the PS3 is a COMPLETE JOKE. I would not even buy it for 100 USD. Seriously my friend got a Wii and a PS3 for Christmas cuz he is a rich ass. I Played Resistance, supposedly one of the best games for PS3 and it was one of the worst FPSes I have ever played in my life. The game was stupid. You fought what looked like raptors in space suits and the game would skip to a cutscene at one part when you were still fighting and abruptly change your position without you knowing wtf happened. Plus enemies were like camping right outside this one building you and some other guys were talking in like they were ****en waiting for an invitation to kill you or some shit. The gameplay was horrible. But surely the graphics are next generation? WRONG. They looked like the first Xbox. It was bullshit. Now on top of that blu-ray the only good feature of the system is tanking, hence making this system an expensive piece of shit that you can buy if you like fancy shit that absolutely sucks. Sony give up you failure. Sell yourself to Microsoft.
 
'kay, this is one of the dumbest decisions Sony could possibly make with Blu-Ray.
 
Has anyone seen Island Fever? Is it as good as the reviews?

Porn on VHS is what destroyed betamax. Porn on HD DVD will destroy blu-ray.

Now would be a great time for the other two consoles to come out and actively support pornography on their formats. :laugh:

For all of Sony's ridiculous press these past months, the PS3 will still sell like wildfire. Which is beyond me.

For the life of me I can't figure out what they're thinking. This seems like a really stupid movie.

But just so you know, porn will not play nearly as big of a role in this "battle" as it did in VHS vs. Betamax. Now porn is mostly distributed online and I believe the market share of actual porn media sold through retail is much lower than it was back then.

I think Sony made a similar decision along these lines back in the days of VHS and Betamax, and subsequently Betamax went belly up.

Still, I want to be able to zoom in as far until I can see the sperm cells swimming. HD DVD ftw :D
 
Sony: How to bankrupt a company in three easy steps.

1. Find porn,
2. Make a new media format with every fund available,
3. Ban porn from it.
 
Even if the PS3 and Blu-ray (surely a make of condom?) do go belly up, Sony are so all pervasive (film, TV, Music) that they will recover their losses.
