Sony's Press confrence to air on GS soon (1.4 hrs)

Did it say 500 Euros for the 20gb too? Jesus H. Christ you guys have to pay a lot more.

You cannot seriously, after that presentation, even be INTERESTED in a ps3? Not one game even looked remotely fun, the MGS video did nothing but show off characters that were rumored about for ages and all the other games looked like run and gun/hack and slash bore titles

The Wii will beat this no problem
 
Hopefully Microsoft and Nintendo have better conferences than this poor excuse
 
Think its £400 for the 60gig version... bit pricey i think.
I'll wait a while after its released anyway... might get one to put on eBay.

Overall... i was pleased with the conference... Some nice gameplay footage... MGS4! :D Shame there wasn't any killzone there :(

I was also really impressed with EA Sport's character models and movements... very realistic... on the verge of photo realism.

Bit annoyed how they were saying the tilting of a controller was something new... obviously stolen from Nintendo... but it was going to happen eventually.

Microsoft are going to have a tough time at their conference.

I look at it now, and aside from the obvious first party titles, Nintendo has nothing in this race anymore.

Wow, your so serious yet I'm not offended by your comment. You magic man you. Anyway, I thought that none of the games shown were impressive in the least and that's why I didn't think it was a good conference.
 
The show in general sucked balls but I know of other games besides MGS4 that I already want to get and will make it worth it for me to buy one.

Not to mention some cool games were shown that have a chance to be good.

I'll be waiting for MGS4's release or the first price drop.
 
Overall the show was pretty meh,

Warhawk looks like it could be a whole lot of fun with that controller, even though it felt awkward stealing the idea almost from nintendo but it was going to happen.

PS3 Online looks like it could be promising

Tiger woods presentation was good, even though it was creepy as hell when he smiled :LOL:

hopefully the nintendo and microsoft conferences will have more to offer
 
I want to see how they wiill implement that controller into fps's and third person action games. i can see it with flight and racing games, but that's about it.
 
Now I just need to wait for a direct feed HD vid of the MGS4 trailer shown and I DEMAND more during E3 :p
 
Watched the press conference from start to finish, since I follow the 'know your enemy' philosophy. For the record, I decided from day 1 that I want an Xbox 360 and I am also considering buying a Revolution (Wii), depending on if it seems like fun and a good deal. Sony's press conference changes nothing for me, and I didn't expect it to.


Although the AI looked like retards in that Dynasty Warriors style game, the sword fighting looked fun, and this was the only game out of all of them that looked like fun.


The PSP connectivity is a good idea (taken from Game Cube/Game Boy) Controller idea didn't look like it was working very well (taken from Wii), Online features seemed like they copied as much as they could. (Microsoft Xbox Live)


Unimpressive & Expensive.


I'm looking forward to seeing more on how Nintendo's controller works, and seeing what Microsoft have up their sleeve.
 
ai looked horrible in more or less all the games.

graphics were damn good, but i expected more; the quality will be reachable on x360 and isn't very far ahead, at all.

controller .. what a freaking let down, i'm so damn sick of the look though i feel so bad for nintendo, now sony has the movement thing + graphics. it seems like an afterthought though.

i bet neither nint/ms saw the controller thing coming though and i bet both are angry; nintendo for being copied and not being able to match the ps3 in graphics, and ms for being the only one without the movement sensing thing, though i bet they've already started working on their own.
 
Sony blew their chance to steal the show, but atleast there were a few interesting parts, MGS4 :O , Heavenly Sword, Resistance, Warhawk, and I got what I wanted; Footage of Naughty Dog's next game(Which looked believeable, and friggin awesome at the same time). So basically, everything I was already anticipating.(Except Lair :()

How they blew it: Too much CG(From what I could tell at low res, for both the 1st and 3rd party reels.)and a few horrible Demos(GT4HD[make a new omega boost polyphony :(], Genji)

4 leds ? what happened to the 7 players sony promised us .. now that i think about it, they did mention the 7 person thing at all during the press conf.

the little ps icon thing looks like a bad copy of the 'guide' button on 360 controllers.

i highly doubt it, like they couldn't work around a problem like that, maybe it has something to do with them being sued.
 
mgs4 and posibly more games are my reason to buy the ps3

cuz it looked that the executives in sony decided to put everything the other consoles hav to theyr own name
 
As much as I like Metal Gear Solid, I refuse to pay over twice as much for what I see as an inferior Revolution (in every way save the graphics).

I was going to buy both. Now I've changed my mind.
Ripping off the motion sensor controller was the last straw.
