Basically, the only people that are so loyal to the Playstation brand that they will buy one without a second thought are Chavs ... So, the future PS3 titles will be nothing more than chavfodder.

Yeah the Ps2, while starting out good (I got it early on), is pretty much now a chav-console. If you go up to any chav they'd be like "omg Need4speed roxx" then you ask them what Halo is and they're like "whut?" *Shank*

The funniest thing is that most of the people that used to type "Micro$oft" and "M$" are now the ones that own the 360. Note games like FIFA 07 and NFS are all going to be out on the 360 too.

I have to be honest here and say that I do actually love my PS2. FFXII has breathed new life into it, along with games like Okami and Shadow of the Colossus. Rogue Galaxy will do it once again very shortly, as will God of War 2 and Persona 3 later this year. Its got arguably the greatest game library of the current (last?) gen systems, but with a fanbase of 100 million+, you are bound to have at least a few idiots.

I used to be very pro-Sony, but right now there is no way I am paying $600 for my videogame fix. Now I am pro-whosoever can give me the best gaming experience for the best price. The DS does just fine and is without a doubt the most fun system out there at this point in time.

The Ps2 was an awesome console. However the Ps3 is something completley different than what the Ps2 was. The only similarities? Weird architecture.
