Sooo, whats your Best Bit so far? (spoilers)

After a month of lurking away in the background, i've got an obligatory question, but one that has to be asked given the absolute class of the last five minutes of my playing time :)

For those of us that have actually got hl2 to work (*cough* pre-order *cough*), what is your favourite bit so far? The bit that stands the game above all other fps on the PC? (which should avoid any unwanted comparisons)

I've just started to play catch with DOG - absolutely priceless! Somebody has to make a beach volleyball mod!!
 
My best bit so far would have to be the ending....
 
its funny when dr. kleiner (spelling?) tells his pet headcrab to jump onto his head
kinda dumb though
 
The bit on the air boat when that huge tower crashed to the floor! it was amazing!

In Klieners lab with Lemarr the wonderful headcrab
 
slicing zombies in half with the grav gun =)
Or better yet.. barbecuing them
 
Covering a zombie in white paint is pretty funny. Catch with dog was good . Ravenholm was brilliant, I loved the creepy atmosphere, it was done so well. Everything has been great really, its hard to pick out just one moment. Although the Lemar thing made me laugh.
 
Dr Kliner's headcrab had been, de-toothed. The poor thing didn't really know what to do with itself.

So far, I liked running from the Combine at the beginning. Aside from that, eh... Where I am now. The Prison.
 
After the end credits, with lemar and dr kleiner still complaining. Comedy
 
Lemarr was very funny, that was one of my favorite bits....

Catch with Dog was fun, and so was commanding my own 'Ant Lion' army.....

Dunno why, but I think one of the moments that stick in my mind was at the end of Ravenholm when you go through the gate and leave Father Grigori 'saving his flock' while laughing like a loon, surrounded by zombies and fire....and I realised Father Grigori had gone completely insane, and would die there.....a surreal moment.

Lemar, the friendly headcrab.
At first this thing scared the shit out of me.

Cutting zombies in half.

Begining, trail station, intergation ;), running from the Combine.

Personally, I wish the begining was a little slower. But, hey that's life.
 
i like the end or near end. and the grav gun in the end just owns.

I stayed and killed off a few more, then I realized it was an endless mess, and I was leaving him to die...I felt....bad.. for leaving him.

That was the meaning to he's life, or at least the end of he's life. (guide you out of Ravenholm)
Everyone was dead, he's family, he's friends.

Gordon put some meaning back into he's life.
 
Rolling through the citidel while inside the people mover (clamp that holds you inside like a litte bucket) It was sweet cruising through there and looking around , next would be the gravity gun after it was all powered up and able to pick up combines.
 
I might have to take that super manipulator through the whole game after giving it with a cheat. It was just too much fun.
 
There's an extra part after the credits? I didn't see it o_O

Lamarr and Dr.Kleiner were my favourites :)

The entire intro was freakin mint, especially, meeting Barney in the interrogation room (I was so unbelievably happy to see him!), picking up the leather shoe near the beginning and throwing it at guards and also the whole Lemar scene, including Barney teasing you about your how far your MIT graduate has gotten you.

Playing hide n go seek with the helicopter on the jetboat level.

Zombies BURNING :D

Loads of stuff, but I must say I loved the antlions, they're so cute when they're not trying to kill you- I felt really bad about using them to set off charges!
All in all a superb game - I must have laughed out loud half a dozen times and I've not even finished it yet:)
 
Pretty small in the grand scheme of things but my favourite monent so far is when the guard in the train station knocks the can on the floor with his stun prod and tells you to pick it up.

Sets the tone for City 17 perfectly.
 
Haha, I threw the can at his face when that happened. It bounced off and went in the bin. Then he hit me with his stick...twice :(

My favourite part so far was during the air boat journey. The part where you see the chopper infront of you and that music kicks in and you're speeding down this river dodging things as well as you can with bullets flying past your head...awesome.

Ravenholm was cool too although it got a little tedious at some points.
