this ones real good too recommend it to anyone

I just bought soul calibur 2

the combos are way ebtter then tekken 4 (easier)
and way more advanced than DOA 2/3

I had the original soul calibur for DC, I didn't see what the big deal was, was like every other fighting game, their wasn't junk to unlock but like lame character art, no alternate gameplay modes, and you just like hit eachother, the story is so shallow in both the games, its like Super soul mega sword you must win the contest get sword and then for some reason other character still has the sword always and we expect you to believe we are being abstract and original but we actually ran out of ideas of a new sword to give him. =P

rofl, the amount of time i spent in an arcade just watching the demo roll on. Never playing it, just watching....

I was so intimidated by it in the arcades. It made me so excited... but I was too intimidated to dare touch the buttons. I only played it on my Genesis. I should break out with it sometime, that game is hella fun.

Its out now??? cool I played it to death on the DC and Aethaecyn there was alternate modes u had to unlock them by getting the art :|.

I played a lot of the old one, and I've gotten my mits on enough of the new one to say that I'm hooked. It has the best balance of any fighting game I've ever player, in that anyone can pick it up and do alright, but its deep enough that it will take forever for you to master it.

You really can't compare Soul Calibur to DOA or Tekken. The reason being, Soul Calibur is a WEAPONS FIGHTER. I admit, it is an awesome game, but you cannot compare it to other fighters, as most of them do not involve weapons.

Hopefully I'll have the Gamecube version this week along with F-Zero GX, they will keep me busy until HL2.
