Sound card suggestions ?!?!

i am planning to buy a sound card for my comp and will be using it for watching dvd movies music and playing games, what sound card will be best suited for that??

i was lookin at the audigy zs plat pro but too much..

what do u guys recommend??

well, I just got myself an old audigy gamer off ebay for 38 bucks shipped or something in that general area. I'm very happy with it, and it runs my Logitech Z640's and my 2 sennheiser headphone/sets just fine. Much clearer then the onboard sound.

What I'm saying is don't be afraid to buy last generation, used parts.
