Sound Designer looking for work

Hey there guys.

I am a sound designer, looking for some work. I have worked with many development teams throughout the year. So far, none of them were successful with their projects.

So i came to this forum, hoping to find some work. I heard some pretty good stuff about this forum, and the programmers. Let's hope that isn't a rumor.
For now, i have no work with me to show anyone, as some of my work is actually in progress. If anyone is looking for a sound designer, then i am here for the job.

Do you have decent recording equipment and a good voice for voiceacting, or do you just do sound effect design?

I have sound equipment that is $1000+. Believe me when i say this, i do NOT have good voice acting voice.

Not having any examples isn't exactly inspiring, and it's pretty rare that mods get far enough to need sounds, since sound/music is one of the last steps in creation.

Cant you upload some samples ? like gunshots, reloads, walking, whatever ... sounds?

You really need some relevant samples to showcase. Also, even if you don't have a voice for radio so to speak, do you know people that you could "recruit" as voiceactors for a particular project?

I may have work for you, but I need to see some examples of your work. Can you make a convincing Combine radio voice filter for making Combine lines?

At present, my mod requires additional voice clips both for generic Resistance fighters (male and female) as well as Combine soldiers, and a number of specialty units for both sides. Later on we will need more sound effects (gunshots, explosions, vehicle noises, etc) but we aren't at that point yet.
