Sound problem...need help!

Most of the game sounds good but only the voices are really quiet and barely audible. Anyone know what I can do about this?

I have a Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 and I am using Klipsch Promedia 5.1 speakers. Drivers are updated and surround sound works correctly.

I havn't messed around with the audio settings much, but is there another one for voice? Also, try messing with your Windows volume settings. If all else fails, turn on subtitles.

check the speaker connectors. One is probably not plugged in correctly or is connected to the wrong connector on the pc. This, or one of the cables could be damaged.

... a bit late, but check the settings of your center speaker. Sometimes 5.1 output will send much of the voice signal to that channel. I had it turned off and had to look askew at people to hear them.
