Sound Problems

Whenever I fire up Bf 1942 I always have sound problems. The first thing it does is whenever a sound fx goes on it happens twice, then it becomes so annoying that I turn it off. But, whats strange is that it plays the intro music and fx fine. Do you guys think its my sound card, or is it Battlefield?

my soundcard is a three year old sound blaster, and i fully updated battlefield to 1.45. However, on the early versions of battlefield my comp ran it fine

Ya they have been screwing around with the sound with alot of the different patches. I don't think there is a way of fixing it other than waiting for the next patch to see if the problems are fixed or getting a new sound card.

sounds like a sound card specific issue, try cruising bf1942 forums looking for people with the same problem.

or, failing that, try computing.net, they know their shit.
