When I played Engy I stuck with MP7 since the firing rate is absolutely ridiculous on it and you don't necessary have to switch to pistol if he's around medium range.

Medic IMO is the best anti-infantry class and obviously insanely great point whoring. The G36-E is the best gun in the game and their ability to heal themselves (in and out of combat) makes them really tough to kill. Combine with the fact that they have a longass sprint makes them the toughest class to fight toe-to-toe with.

But i have lots of hours on engineer from being a commander and repairing things like artillery, when your team doesnt do shit to protect supply crates of commander toys. Medic have nothing for...i'm thinking about learning to play with medic. Basing them on that even platform, what do you think?

It's always best, in my opinion, to know every class as best as possible, that way you can be whatever is needed by the team without incident. It's hard to find a team that needs medics though, granted, because I always find there are too little AT/Engies for a game. I hate when I'm running around, see a tank, spot it...and...there's only 3 AT on our team of 24. So I have to go get myself killed, spawn as AT, and do my best to solo them.

But as it has been stated, the medic is great for whoring poitns, and keeping your team as much alive as possible. I say play with the medic for a couple days, see how you like them. The guns are accurate and powerful, and they are mad fun to play.

Unless you are a strict commander only guy, then engie is the only solution for ya

Oh i definately am not, i one of these hoppers that will change class depending on the situation rather than likeability. I think you've convinced me to try out the medic now, i'll give it a shot with the normal gun and if i do like it will unlock the L85A1. How is that gun for close range though?

Gotta shoot at the lower neck when you're really close, so it will burst fire up to the hell. I like it as a gun in general, because when they go prone, easy kills.
