Wow my post and the 2 after it that agreed were deleted thats just sad, disgusting, and wrong on so many levels. All I did was offer an opinion different from that of the moderators. I didn't link to or imply the use of any warez or anything illegal.

I mean, what? Aside from the fact that construction of the sentence makes my brain hurt, the sentiment is ridiculous. "It's pointless to try and stop it because you can't stop it". If someone has a strong anti-warez ethic, that doesn't make them naive, or a "squeeler". When the build of HL2 was stolen, Valve asked the community for assistance in tracing the perpetrator. The community assisted, and the guy was caught. Was everyone involved in that naive, too? Did they deserve punching in the face?

Some people have morals, some people don't. Disagreeing with someone who has an opposing viewpoint does not make them naive, or stupid, or wrong, unless you're prepared for the same to apply to you.

One more thing - this site does not, and will not ever, promote the use or advocacy of warez. Read the terms and conditions that you agreed to.
