Following the release of SourceForts v1.9.2 (which we sadly seem to have missed) a trailer is now available on Steam via the "browse media" tab. This excellent mod has each team clubbing together to construct the ultimate fortress, before battling for supremacy in the combat phase. Those of you who like to build castles out of sofa cushions - this is for you.[br]

I watched the trailer and it appears that you can only build with those square thingys with the mods logo on them. Now, of course, i haven't played that game so anyone that has please tell me otherwise

Good to see mod trailers on steam media. Congrats on SourceForts team to be the 1st.

Played this mod back in the really early releases. Going to try it out now.

Well, its very much like old-school Legos: you get a couple of types of blocks, but the only limit to what you can build is your imagination (and if you run out of blocks).

BTW, if you've played this mod in the past (especially in the way-old 1.4 days), you should try it again. The class system has been tweaked and balanced, the servers run a lot smoother - so much so we are running 24 man games now. Also the blocks have been optimized with better LOD rendering, meaning even lower-end machines can use the nice new shiny blocks. Stop by sourcefortsmod.com and say HI :D

Hmm....I used to have an account here....guess its lost forever ;(

gave this mod a try...Lots of fun. Too bad there aren't that many servers.

At a recent LAN party we played SF. It went down quite well and was a good laugh.

Heh, great mod. The building aspect is fun and because of the classes it's the closest thing to TF on source until either FF or TF2 come out.
