The latest version of SourceForts has been released, the SourceForts team describes it as "the most polished SourceForts version yet", with a massive level design overhaul and numerous bug fixes.[br]

Wouldn't any new iteration of anything be the most polished version?

No, dude, this is huge!

Sourceforts sucked ever since Knifa stopped running it. Classes? Come on.

Code:
Version 3.0 of DuraFort Changelog, the most polished version yet!

* Removed everything

But yeah, surely every version should be as polished as it possibly can be... :sleep:

Oh, and don't call me Shirley.

Edit - The trailer was really good though

amazing game, flawed core design in which it is only truly enjoyable with players who know exactly what they're doing D;

but it is still fun most of the time

Cool trailer, this mod sure has come a long way, and by the looks of it the core game play never changed that much (which is good, means you had a solid idea from the start) :)
Really like the updated maps, looks a lot nicer then when I last played the 1st release :p
I'll have to give this another try soon! Congrats to the team and their hard work!

Played it for a while tonight. There is a lot of griefing on servers, people unfreezing defenses. You can't play without an admin.

It's not game etiquette to 'rocket' spam with the soldier class, so you must be reserved in your rocket use oddly enough.

No one really knows what they were doing, and everyone just shouts and swears for stealing their fort pieces then it becomes capture the flag which is pointless due to the forts, so it falls back to deathmatch.

You spend 15 minutes setting up then 15 minutes fighting, so it's boredom and gmod, then HL2DM, it's an odd contrast.

I played this mod a long time ago not long after release, there was not much wrong with it. Now it's been made very complicated, unnecessarily I feel. I do remember it being actually good fun, now the community it supports / the gameplay it supports really has changed it.

As far as multiplayer source experiences go, it was forgettable unfortunately.

Love playing this with friends from time to time. Great mod.

I couldn't care less until I saw that trailer.

The space map reminds me of some UT maps I liked playing on, top stuff. :)

Just any admin won't do. Most SF admins are spoilt kiddies with more money than they deserve (I doubt any of them actually work to pay for their servers), who enforce their vision of the perfect fort build for every map and kick anyone who disobeys.

SF needs to address some basic fundamentals like block limits on a per map basis if it wants to make it work properly. With the right people it is the most fun you can have in a Source mod.
