Any word on when the SE/CE will be shipped in the UK?

Amazon had it for sale, and has withdrawn it, likewise CD-wow (who I ordered it from). They`re very sketchy on actual hard dates. Hopefully it won`t be too far after the 16th.

(and, yes, I searched the forums but couldn`t find any posts that had the information)

I heard it s going to be 3 weeks after the standard edition

think i heard it wasn't going to be available till about a month after release, generally, not sure though.

I ordered it from a swedish online-store called Webhallen and they state on the site that the CE is going to be released 3 weeks after the standard edition, plus, it's coming in a metal tin.

Someone e-mail Valve/Vivendi about this matter?

I ordered it on CD-Wow, they say it will be released on 29th of November.

I got some great news for you! I wrote a e-mail to Amazon.co.uk about the CE and today they got back to me.

After contacting our suppliers we have been informed that this video
game is currently scheduled for release on December 10, 2004, and we
will notify you if we find that this date changes.

Further, please note that this item has just temporarily been removed
from the site, this should be back up this week.

I pre-ordered my copy off Game two weeks ago, they had the release date as 16th November. Now they haven't emailed me to say there's been any delay, and so far I'm yet to see ANY official word that it has been delayed.

As far as I'm concerned it's still coming out on the 16th, and until Vivendi/ Game say any different I've no reason to believe otherwise.

You just got word from Vivendi, i can confirm the same 10th December date for Denmark.

I definately want the collector's edition, coz I'd love a HL2 tee Even if I have to wait till next month to get it, I don't think it'll be that hard... I have GTA SA to play through too! But we'll see if I can still hold out when it's released!

I know that this has been said 10 000 times now but...this sucks!!

The U.S. get the CE the same day as Half-Life 2 is released. But Europe have to wait another 3 weeks. It really doesn't make any sense at all.

In the Netherlands the retailers claim that the ce will be released the 2nd of december. This would be in time with our saint nicolas feast which is about the same as your christmas presents tradition. We celebrate this feast on the 5th of december. I'm going to wait. I think I'll regret it later if I don't and see somebody else with the cool t-shirt. I'm really looking forward to hl source aswell. It's been a tough decision though cause I still think it sucks. The fans are really waiting for the ce of the most anticipated game of the century and now they have to wait, again, a while longer. Vivendi could be making more money releasing it at the same time because I think many will not wait and buy the normal version of the game.

What gave you that idea. Is it a guess or some information we all haven't heard from?
