Specialised antlion spawning ???

I have allways wanted to know;

How can you get antlions to spawn as if they are burrow from out of the ground, like from the holes in the concrete in Nova Prospect.

I have tried a lot of things, but can not get the answer, i've seen it done on many mods such as "antlion troopers: duece" etc, but im stuck.

Any help would be greatly apreciated!

I dabbled a little bit in d2_coast_01.bsp. The entities you probably want are npc_antlion_template_maker and the npc_antlion entity itself (which, incidentally, has a Start Burrowed property and some very interesting inputs).

yeh a guy from facepunch added this in his map everyone was asking I he pretty much said the same thing. Accept he went into dept of the possition in the hoel so he doesnt climb in the wrong place... ect ect etc! zzzzzz :dozey:

But it does look cool doesn't it!
