I recently got my new computer and i ordered 512 megs of pc3200 ram and when i boot up my comp it says memory frequency running at 200 mhz, isnt it supposed to run at 400 mhz? If so please tell me how to set it so I can run it at 400 mhz. THanks

dual channel? lol
200mhz is the actual frequency but because it is DDR (double data rate) and samples twice, the rating is 400mhz.
Just like with FSB...
The frequency is 100/133/166/200 yet they sample at 2 or 4 times per clock. So at 200mhz sampling 4 times gives you about equal performance as a FSB at 800mhz sampling once.

And just to add a bit to that...Athlon CPU FSB is doubled (2x) and Pentiums are quad pumped (4x).

Athlon XP that is... ;)
Not Athlons and not Athlon 64.
