Spider Mangggg

Where mah Tobeeeeeeeeey ;_____;

Nah this looks like it could be good. But I think this should be the last of the Hollywood reboots for a while. Like a few years, or a century.

Looks alright, looks darker and grittier along the lines of the latest Batman films.

Yeahhhh but it won't be. If nothing else they're doing another Superman reboot.

I'm tentatively excited for this movie.

Oh no! The city is under attack by the mad photoshop filter wizard!

Costume looks like it was coloured with house paint. I guess that could be intended.

I am the only one that prefers the biological web shooters rather than the mechanic ones?

I grew up with the 90's cartoon, so I do not mind the mechanic web shooter as much as others..

is just that I dont liked the fact that if spiderman run out of cartridges he cant go building swinging and all that stuff and is just a man that climb walls and some strenght and that shit

Who knows, maybe they're taking a leaf out of Nolan's book and making it less about 'super powers' ?

How is that a leaf from "Nolan's book"? Batman was never about super powers.

Ok maybe just a more feasible approach?

You'd have to remove the whole spider bite thing, which I guess would kind of defeat the purpose. Still weird that he'd have web shooters, if indeed that's what they are.

It makes more sense that young hotshot scientist Peter Parker made the webshooters as opposed to them just kind of growing out of his ****ing wrists.

Traitor...

Hey I am not the one with the one track mind here.

I like web shooters because I like that the bite doesn't come as an all-in-one package. Peter has to modify it, to build on it. And they don't stop shooting when he's depressed, but rather when they break, and for some reason this makes a lot of sense. Spider-man has always had a science-fiction genre mix to it; the trick is to embrace that, not shy away from it.

I like that idea, one of the reasons I like Batman is for all the gizmos and gadgets that go along with him, secret base etc. Spider man, to look at, was just a guy in a suit. Probably why I never liked him a lot. It would be good if the bite gave him his strength, but like you say it would be cool to see him doing something with it, maybe modifying his gloves for wall climbing etc.

I agree. In the Raimi films we saw in extreme closeup how tiny spines grew out of his hands - which made ****all for sense when he was wearing the gloves.

i was never really big on Spiderman. Every nerd can relate to him, but here the guy looks cool and this direction looks like it makes no sense to me but whatevs

At a guess, they're meant to look like regular shoes (and probably are). Seems like they're really going for the "PETER PARKER BUILT THIS IN A CAVE" aesthetic.

one thing,I am the only one who find this unecesary? I mean the 3rd one is like 2,3 years ago right? so why suddenly a reboot a like this?

I guess this will be the new hollywood tactic

I think this one is less "Hollywood" and more "Marvel". With the possible exception of Wolverine, Spider-Man is Marvel's most popular character. And given that Marvel is going so far as to make movies that are only trailers for other movies, it shouldn't be surprising.

After the appalling mistake that was Spider-Man 3, the fact that Raimi wasn't willing to do what Sony/Marvel wanted, the fact that Dunst wanted Spider-Man killed off, and Tobey Macguire is now in his mid 30's, it makes sense to just "do it over".

I don't find it unnecessary, but only because the previous trilogy was awful. Not as bad as Cameron's treatment was, but still really bad. Actors with no chemistry, villains with no motive, and plot holes abound.

I'm tentatively excited for it, though I do hope that the first movie doesn't get super hung up on the origin story.

I think is both, cuz who knows if they start milking whit reboots, after all it will be the same story so no need for new ones and they would guess it will sell well cuz the previous one did and everyone liked the origin story
