splash screen is blurry

when i first start hl2dm, and the things like option, exit, find servers hasnt come up, and only splash is showing, its fine, it looks good, but when the options appear, the splash gets blurry, i tried reinstalling, anyone know why?

well, by blurry, i dont really mean blurry, i mean look like shit, and i run on highest res

i thought it was normal, until i went to a friends and saw that his splash was fine

the resolution of the splash screen is dependant on the texture detail. Set it to high and it should look better again. I thought you meant the way it blurs out when you have a VGUI2 window open.
