Splash Screen?

Or is it even called the Splash screen anymore? I hope you guys know what I'm talking about. I'm just woundering how you edit the splash screen in steam/source. I'm talking about the screen that pops up when you click on a game to play it, the back ground on the screen that, "Find Server","Create Server" "Options" etc. Sit on. I know this might be nub, sorry :/

Mod Directory/materials/console/background01.vtf
Mod Directory/materials/console/sdk_background.vtf

That's how my mod has it, plus the appropriate vmt files for each.
