NOTE: I don't see why these would not be aloud since it's mainly just two pics. Yes it's from a magazine but I am not posting the article but rather just two screenshots. Mods if this is not aloud I apologize and you can delete this post. I found these on the GameSpot forums and well it's not being delete there so...

Incredible screenshots from Game Informer magazine about Splinter Cell 4:

Game Informer confirms that these are ingame screenshots. They blow the graphics away of any game I have ever seen.

It does look like concept art, the last screenshot not too much but the first really does. Oh, and your sig's too big.

Yeah ingame as in
*Take picture of beta product*
*Copy/Paste into photoshop and touch up*
*Save, claim as ingame shots because it will look like that "eventually"*

Yeah I expect it will look good, but I would not be at all surprised if come release time the graphics look much different.

There was a video of this on Spike TV. At least thats what people are talking about on GameFaqs.

looks more like concept art =\
need video to judge..

I call not in game.

Then again, I have been fooled before!

Wouldn't be surprised if its either ingame or concept art.

Has anyone seen the RE5 ingame screenshots? Looks like this. Looks awesome like this.

(Off topic: Why wont anyone make a Freespace 3 :( )

Well maybe by ingame they mean that this is the cinematic you see in the start so the movie is In the Game (it's even in the same file) :p

Those are impressive, but I also wouldn't be surprised if the final product was MUCH different.

I don`t believe for a second that those are actual real-time in game game graphics, they do look more like promotional art made up to look like graphics, besides, weve already had a load of shots released already and they don`t look anything like these.

the only thing i believe is in game on those scans is the model thats cut off at the bottom of the first one...

Hey, if anybody knows that one concept from raising the bar, the black and white drawing of a teleporter-looking machine and a guy climbing up a ladder towards it... PCGamer had that in an article back in '03 as an in-game screenshot. So don't believe everything you read.

Anyway, There is no way that those pics are screenshots... I do NOT want to play a cartoon.

Besides, look at Sam in the second pic... you can see the brush strokes for crying out loud.

definatly concept art, i can't even think of these being in-game shots.

Concept art. Come on.
seriously, as much as I would love game graphics to look that incredibly detailed, it's not gonna happen just yet, though I don;t doubt this game will be very visually impressive, as the previous Splinter Cell games have been

We're allowed to post scans now?
Those look great. I hope they make another Prince of Persia game with that engine. My computer won't be able to handle it.

There's no chance that those are in game.

yep, concept art. It's not the first time magazines have been wrong about what's concept art and what isn't. I remember in the build up to Half-Life 2 several magazines took concept art for in-game screenshots.

Look at the angle on the second pic. If you were playing that it would just be confusing.

My bullshit meter says "BULLSHIT" right now when I see those.

It's gotta be concept.

The characters look like they came out of a CGI cinematic mixed with concept art rain.

How can anyone mistake these for ingame screenshots? Seriously.

doesn't looks that different from what we've seen next-gen ?

UE3 and others have comparable graphics. I don't want better graphics anyway

This shot contains spoiler text, so don`t read the text and just look at the pics!!!!!!!!!!

Right, check out this scan:-

In the shot where Sam is pulling up that guy, look at the shadow on the floor, notice it looks like the shadows in Pandora Tomorrow in that it`s a little blockier than the others, these ones are real shots, now you can`t tell me that these ones look as good as the ones previously posted.

the shots were retouched in the first page, the new scan shows they're real....

Don't always believe what Wikipedia tells you. I mean, until a bit ago, if you searched "National Stereotypes", it would tell you that an example of a positive stereotype is that the Chinese "worship fetus and furry wang".

THEY DON'T?!

Oh, of course they do. However, that's not a stereotype- it's the goddamned truth. THAT'S why wikipedia is untrustworthy.

Besides, look at Sam in the second pic... you can see the brush strokes for crying out loud.
Splinter Cell 4:
So realistic you can see the brushstrokes!

Okay, and where do you pull this conclusion from?
