what a bad graphix

I will play the PC version

Looks like crap compared to the other two versions, why even waste the time making a ps2 version?

Where did you get those pics? They dont look very much like what I have seen and played so far. I have the PC demo and it looks amazing especially at max settings with PS 3.0 and HDR turned on. It really looks wet in the rainy levels and the characters are really high detail.

BRODIEMAN2k4 :

I don't know

DrDevin :

Me too. I played the pc demo. the graphix was amazing
but you know the ps2 and it's ability

Does the XBox and the PC version have Heat Distortion thingy ?

it looks like concept art to me for some reason

Ya it seems like concept art to me. Everything seems really blocky and has a fantasticle colour to it especially the heat distortion and refraction. The water distortion reminds me of the prince of persias castles. There is one courtyard that looks a lot like that!

maybe you guys didn;t catch that this was on the PS2, which doesn;t support normal mapping and they had to create their own kind, called geo mapping to even get it to where it is now, this is all actually very nice for the PS2, just cause it isn;t up to PC levels doesn; mean you need to rag on it
and there's a good reason for the to do it - money, many people only have one console and no PC capable of playing it

We knew this was for the PS2 and that the Playstation does not support the majority of the new graphics features that are used now but we were comenting on how the screens looked like concept art. I know they will probably make more money off of the PS2 version than everything else but it is a shame seeing the game in this state. Do you have any information on geo mapping. I have never seen it before and am wondering how it workes or how it compared to normal mapping.

there was a video somewhere about the geomapping, but it was rolled up into a big preview, i'd say check gametrailers.com, it was pretty interesting how they did it
