Splinter Cell: Double Agent MP demo

LOL Stardog! Splinter Cell started off as a 'XBox' franchise, the first console it released on was the XBox, so if anything, they are being loyal to their original fanbase.:) Atleast franchise fanbase!

Sweet i might check it out. Haven't touched my 360ed. Still waiting on my TV to come out.

i tried this about an hour ago.....its so horribly awful

Have you played previous iterations of the Spies vs. Mercs gametype?

I loved playing SC : PT on my original Xbox. The multiplayer is unique and very cool.

Give me a ******* PC demo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will bob & steve be there...to mess things up?

Ugh, all these ****ing "360 first" demos are pissing me off

You know DA is using an upgraded version of the Chaos Thoery engine, so if it ran good on your old video card, then it there really was no reason for you to upgrade if it was just for this game

Maybe it just barely ran good, and now she wants to play it on high settings?

Oh... I WANT THE PC DEMO!!!

Jesus. People, don't ever join the game as spy. You will be stuck in the "finding game session" thing for an hour...

Just played it. I like it alot, alot more balanced than the previous one where all a spy had to do was run around in circles to avoid your bullets. The mercs get this new kind of radar that reminds me of Alien. It basically starts beeping and the controller starts to shake when theres a spy near by, and if you have em in your sight long enough an outline forms around them so you know where they are. I haven't been able to play as the spy yet, because everybody jumps onto those positions first. Thing is I haven't lost a match yet. I guess people playing the spies are still use to being able to run infront of a merc and go crazy instead of actually using stealth :|

sad :( my x360 in the workshop.. i have to wait until the expert to call me

Now it's a one shot kill headshot from the merc. In PT and CT, you had to shoot a spy two head shots to kill them...

On the official website, it says the single player demo will be out next week.

I remember headshotting the spies in PT just once to kill them. Maybe they patched after I stopped playing but I specifically remember that (I saved my teammate a few times by blasting a full health spy in the head before he broke my fellow merc's neck).

Screw the shitbox give us real gamers the damn PC DEMO!!!
Wow, that's quite offensive and aggressive, how old are you? 12?
Please define real gamers. I play the XB360 quite a bit and I'm probably more of a real gamer than most PC gamers..

Besides, you PC gamers that are whining so much should be happy, according to an ol' statement from early August, they'd only release a SP demo of the game for the PC, for reasons unknown they wouldn't release a 360 demo of the SP part..
Thank god I'm buying a semi high-end PC today(Though with a middle-end 7900GS that I'll upgrade to a high-end DX10 card in 2k7), so I can enjoy the SP demo next week too.:D

Btw, about SM3.0 cards only, here's the requirements.

Video Card: Direct X® 9.0c-compliant, Shader 3.0-enabled 128 MB video card (256 MB recommended) (see supported list*)

God, you whiners are idiots. Lookie, Splinter Cell wasn't originally on the PC. It was PORTED. So stop bloody whining. Like Gargantou said, the SP demo will be available to us EXCLUSIVELY. That's special treatment, and if you still whine about it, you can foad.

If it's Shader 3.0 only, then I don't think many people will be playing this game...

Christmas soon I suppose.

If you find that comment 'offensive' and 'aggresive' its possible its you who needs to grow up.

Noticed this last night, do you need a gold account to play it online? Only on silver here.

I'm not sure. I know you didn't need Gold to play the Test Drive Unlimited demo online, but the BF2 multiplayer demo wouldn't work unless you had Gold.

Yeah, this is total bullshit. I bet a maximum of 30% (a number I totally made up, but it seems resonable) of PC gamers have an SM 3.0 card. I have an x800, which is by no means a shoddy card, yet I am SOL for this game? I can play Chaos Theory at max settings very well, and from what I can tell, Double Agent is based off of that engine, with some enchancements. If there is no way to make the game run on SM 2.0, I will be seriously pissed because I am not upgrading until next summer.
