Splinter Cell - FREE

It will only cost you $79.95. WOHOO FOR FREE SOFTWARE!!!

$79.95 :O

**** it. But it might be quite good for someone that's already a member.

Aw man, I subscribe monthly, I guess I don't get anything.

That sucks, they even get more money from me paying monthly, so why do the annual members get all the goodies??

I am a member but I don't think it applies. :(

You get it if you upgrade from monthly to annual.

no, I think its the only walkthrough guide, chris,

huh? walkthrough guide? are you blind? Its the full game but you have to have an annual sub to fp...

Blah. It's like buying two copy's of the game for christsakes. I already am subscribed to Fileplanet anyways.

Actually fileplanet subscription is well worth it, I've been going monthly for a few months now and on alot of files it saves a lot of messing about.
I'm considering upgrading because it'll save me $20, also splinter cell would be a bonus.

but splinter cell is the most annoying game ever:afro:

It's brilliant to be able to just start downloading something immediately. Trailers, demos, patches. And it gets rid of all the gamespy ads too. So no more ones at FP, PHL, Planet Doom, Planet Unreal or wherever else you go within Gamespy.

I've been pondering whether to get a filewhore subscriber account for some time now. I think I might try it for a month or so and see how it sits.

A lot of people diss on FP simply because its not free. The fact is that this is a great service. When there is something major released I can download it instantly at good speeds. All the demos and betas they put up are also very cool. However, I don't think I will be upgrading to their yearly service, without splinter cell its only like $40 so I guess they are charging you more for the game.
Paul

They're charging you extra for the extra package within the Founders Club... whatever that is.

I would never pay nearly 80$ to sign up for the fileplanet gamespy crap to be able to download the full splinter cell for free, that would take longer and cost more than just heading to your local electronics store and buying splinter cell.

That's like paying $80 for a $30 game and a bunch of crap you could get free anyway. What a bargain!
