Spoiler=ban if you ask me..

I think that, people who give spoilers ( fake or not ) need to be banned permanently, or at least a couple of months.
( just like on steampowered.com forums )

This should be made clear in a sticky.

I think this is the only way to stop these fake ass lamers who give spoilers.. I mean some even do it while pretending to be speculating.. ( I already know some so I can see it if they do)

Also, why is the rumors and speculation section removed?

That was THE place for ppl to give their useless spoilers, but now everything has gone to general... very bad move if you ask me..

I would take these steps if I was a mod..

It's actually so logical if you think about it..

Some of the people here wait more then a year for this game, and then suddenly people can come up spoiling the story for you, AND get away with it? ..

It happened to me.. ( well I don't know for 100% that they were true, but still I fear they are because of the story leak)

Yeah, the story has been spoiled for me too. But of course I don't know if that's the case, since I haven't played the game yet. It's still annoying though.

woah, i read the title in a rushed in a way and thought it meant that he was giving away a spoiler and didn't care if was going ot be banned, that freaked me out...
on-topicaly, i'd have to say that they should be banned. if anything, make a section based on it and have a person that's already played it to mod it. that's if anything, otherwise, insta ban is the way.

hmm..i was not around for this spoiler apparently (thank god).. but i thought i read Chris_D say there are scripts roaming the hells of IRC and if pple click those unknowingly, it causes to log into ur account and create many spoiler threads.

Now don't get me wrong - I'm all against spoilers, but it takes two to spoil:

1 to post it and 1 to read it. If you don't want spoilers then don't mouse over the threads that contain them or highlight the spoiler tags.

I know there is not much we can do if people post spoilers in the thread title, but it's life - people are going to be dicks and spoil stuff. The only way to stay spoiler free is to unfortunately abandon the forums until you have finished playing the game.

If the spoiler is posted with the main intent to ruin someone else's experience of the game, then yes, we will issue a ban. If it was accidental or seemingly unintentional, then we usually issue a warning if they've had a clean history.
