Spoiler: I'm stuck on the Dark Something chapter

Hi, this is quite spolier.
I'm stuck on chapter 14, right at the end, when i need to shoot down the teleporter of Dr Breen. The thing is I dont know what to shoot at. I shot the ball, the building, the light and nothing happens, he just carries on moving up. :sniper:
Can someone please include a screenshot if possbile and show me what to aim at, once i'm ate the top of the structure. I checked out the walkthroughs but they dont help.

Are you at the very top of the reactor? Just shoot the portal itself and then afterwords the rotating shields.
