hey guys im having spyware problems at the moment, ruining my PC.
I need a method of deleting these suspicious folders in my program files folder. there are like 3 or 4 of them but i cant delete any of them because "they are in use"
which is odd because the processes list dont show any of them running. the spyware files are completely invisible so it would look like there is nothing in them.
the non hidden ones are easily sorted via either spybot or closing down the processes then quickly deleting them before the run themselves again.
my anti spyware programs dont seem to detect these ones though and i cant afford to be re-booting my pc again as i did it last month when it got bad.

Ahh ok, thought you were one of those people who keeps their comp on for months and just hates rebooting them.

Boot into Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Command Prompt, and delete from there.

yeah, safe mode then run adaware and spybot s&d

also get microsoft anti spyware, its a really good prog. Hazar and psyno have the right idea. scan in safemode then in normal mode. that should clear out any crap thats running.

lol i forgot how to use the console, seriously back when i had my old pc and my DOS before that i could do it. but stupid XP dumbed me down.

ill see what MS antispyware can do at the mo...

edit:

Microsoft anti-spyware, detected all the spyware, told me what it was, where is was, what it does and got rid of it for me.
5 stars to MS ASW!

MS Anti Spyware is a cracking program! I really hope that MS don't charge you for it when its released.

Bleh. It's a scanner, but I chose not to have any active protection running on my pc. It frees up TONS of system memory and keeps my gaming worry free.
