How do I minimize "stairstepping" in games? I have a 9800 Pro 128, can I turn Antialiasing (if that's even the right thing) on to reduce this problem? Thanks.

If you mean you don't like pixelation of fine lines, turn on AF and AA.

If you mean your screen seems to 'tear' when you move, then turn on vsync.

Beware, AA can suck ALOT of frames per second out of your game.

Yep, need to find the right balance of quality and performance. Really depends on what game you are playing in which you experience teh 'jaggies'.

Well, aside from the obvious Anti-Aliasing, rasing the resolution also minimizes the "jaggies".

AF doesn't get rid of jaggies at all, it's for filtering textures, like when you look at an object at an angle it gets rid of the blurriness.
