stale characters become predictable

Where I live, all the movies are subbed, same as some of the channels on tv.
Something feels wrong without the little pieces of text under my screen..

I'd say that the only stale character would be Alyx, and I like to think she'll be emotionally disturbed enough to be different in Episode 3. Quiet, reserved, leading up to ridiculously vengeful. Mossman should be different, she hasn't had much screen time, and, well, Chell maybe? GLaDOS?
