Its actually not doing too badly on the reviews front.

Its STALKER but everything that was wrong has been delt with. Theres still bugs of course.

I found the first one great, but the bugs and system hog killed it. It was more demaning than Crysis I found. Played both on my machine, Crysis ran great on high settings, STALKER chugged along so badly on high.

God damn difference in pricing! It's €30 or €20 for the loyalty promo! I wouldn't hesitate if they charged me the price they're charging Americans, but apparently I get to pay over double! I might wait for a sale. at least the loyalty promo is indefinite according to the Steam news update.

Edit: Ok what Barnz is seeing isn't the US price. I'm slightly less annoyed. £=€ conversions are still as annoying as hell though.

I hope this loyalty price strategy will be a mainstay on steam... I've been wondering why they haven't used a pricing strategy like this before.

it makes perfect sense , especially for a platform like steam where they can easily keep track of what games you've bought.

it's what they should have done for L4D2, that way people who bought L4D1 would feel less screwed over if they could get the second game at discounted price(I know I would have bought it then, rather than waiting for a sale to come along, like I'm currently doing)

great deal for a new game. although I wont get it because I'm a wuss and dont like scary games (never did finish the first one) but I did purchase Mount and Blade for $5 . which is an even awesomer deal

Except mount and blade is nearly two years old now, and CoP was just released.

This is an amazing deal for a new STALKER game.
