but it's good news anyways as I'm dying to play it ...in may ;(

Very happy about that, demo before game like Far Cry will sell the game for me if it's good. So I hope for their sake it is.

hehe that question gets asked more than any other ..no coop; that's a definate ..not even later in a patch ..in one of the developer interviews the lead designer said it was too difficult to do even with the added timeframe (this was after the first delay)

it's too bad I would have loved coop

Maybe they will add it with an expansion... that would REALLY sell the game for me.

ya I agree, there's a thread on the oblivion lost forum that's 150 odd pages of fans pleading for co op ..they have to cave in to their demands sooner or later

I'm sure that had something to do with it, but that's not why it was delayed till may 05

btw why would ANY developer release their game around the same time as a major release? Only big name games with lots of hype can take that risk ...I'm sure if you go to the halo2 forums you'll find some fanboy you snickering about HL2 being released so close to Halo2

Im so eager for this game yet the delay by over half a year didn't bother me really...maybe because i've come to realise that games never come out on time (except doom3).

HL2, WoW (maybe EQ2 instead, not decided), MGS3, GTA:sa, GT4 will make the time fly between now and next may/june for this game.

yes that would be the smart thing to do ..but as Brink pointed out the open beta should start soon ..yay!!!

Doom3 came out 2 years late.

The last i heard Doom3 was never actually given a release date until ID was 100% positive they could meet the deadline and it didn't get a release date until it was officially gold.
