STALKER- does it get better?

Hmm, I just noticed in Clear Sky, if you start murdering traveling STALKERS and looting them, Bandits take a liking to you. Awesome.
 
Just installed the S.M.R.T.E.R mod for CoP. Essential mod. Makes the game MUCH more challenging and atmospheric. Interest officially re-kindled.

Well I guess based on what everybody is saying I should keep on trucking. I was really hoping it got better and tonight I'll find out. I assume to get past this "garbage" place I'll need better armor since I tried it once and radiated to death in a few seconds. I wish it wasn't so stinking far back to the trader. I think I've done pretty much all of the side quests so far so I should have enough dough for an armor upgrade.
 
i reinstalled, started the game...everything was fine for 10 minutes and then out of nowhere every 10 seconds id get about 1 fps for about 30 seconds...then it's fine, then its back to 1fps....happens even in the lowest settings.

I can't ****ing win.

Then I tried ME1, changed my video settings and now it tells me my moniors v and h settings are messed up and i'm stuck at a black screen until restart. computers sucks.

The game isn't hard enough on master? I had to lower it considering how 2 bullets kill you.
 
I just lowered the difficulty to Stalker from Veteran and everything has become a lot better lol. Enemies no longer take about 60 rounds of ammunition to kill.
 
I never play below Veteran, and if I've already finished it once I play on Master. Doesn't feel right any lower.
 
It wouldn't be so bad if I just had the ammo, but at the moment I don't so I had to lower to the difficulty lol.

Haha with these starter guns? Well I'll probably be able to manage now since I found the silver M4.
 
But it's not an M4. M4 is generic. LR300 is not.
