The show's concept is essentially The X Factor meets X-Men and contestants must dream up a superpower and make their own costume. As you'd imagine, the auditions are priceless. Witness Stan cruelly rejecting Hairy Ass Man, who boasts: 'I had no idea of my superpowers until I put on these hotpants?' in favour of the scantily clad Monkey Woman, a 28-year-old estate agent by day, whose catchphrase is 'Ooh ooh OOH! ah ah ah!' and Fat Momma, a 42-year-old single mom who gets her crime-fighting energy from the Krispy Kreme doughnuts slung off her belt.

I had an idea for Regurgitation Man. He can regurgitate anything that he eats and use it as a weapon. He can also swallow crazy things such as weapons, meaning he can puke them back up then fill someone full of lead.
 
Two weeks ago I caught what was apparently the final episode of the first season on IFC. It's one of those "it's so bad it's good" shows.

The neat thing is whoever wins, gets to star in their own made-for-tv movie based on their created superhero.

The Incredible Internet Warrior - Always bravely anonymously flaming people from his secret headquarters in his mothers' basement!
 
The Emo - Whines constantly until a point of total dispair where he tears his own skin off and turns into an Emo-hulk.
 
The whole thing was shown over this weekend over here, hilarious stuff.
