Does anybody know what classification this movie is going to get. The others were pg but I am led to believe this is darker and more violent than the others and maybe classed as 12.
I want to take my nipper to see this, he's eight, anybody know if I'll be able to?
Cheers

Cheers, sorry I haven't seen any tv trailers (offshore at the mo).

Actually, I would think nipper meant his son...

You might still get in as long as your with him in the queue.

I'm sure you can take any age child to see a movie upto age 12A in UK. Though i could be wrong so don't quote me!. :p

In Australia igf you are underage, you can see any movie as long as you have a parent/guardian with you.

Here it's got FSK16, so people at age 16 and more can watch it. That's interesting, all the other 5 Star Wars movies got FSK12... :) let's hope for some cool action!

Not R18+

And you need a parent for MA15+

Anythig else an 8 yr old can go see up to M15+

Whats about the M16, RE21 and UIT13B rateings? Are you forgeting them??

Just messing with you -.-

I dont like ratings, there put there before dumb parents are..dumb. If theres a film called "Backdoor sluts 9" chances are its going to be an 18, if theres a horrer them out the chances are your 5 year old wont like to see it.

I swear some parents would let there kids watch backdoor sluts 9 if it had a U rating -.-

South Park. :p

Don't follow ratings, ratings are bad. If you believe your son is suited to see the movie, no one would try to stop you.

The new film classification, 12A replaces the previous 12 classification. The 'A' stands for 'accompanied' and it also stands for 'advisory'. Children under the age of 12 will be able to see a '12A' film at the cinema if they are accompanied by a person of 18 years or over. The adult must watch the film with the child or children and not just pay for the ticket.

Got of the main website for film classification here in the UK
