Nope its just as pathetic as the first one I cant believe companys get away with selling games like this....but I guess thats where the Star Wars fanboys come into play.

it must be a little bit better, they cant just release a second one thats a shitty as the first, thats dumb, how can you get worse.
 
If it isn't better, I'm not interested. And I mean better as in graphics and gameplay, not "Ooh, there's flying now" better.

I played Battlefront 2 at the Star Wars con at Indie. It's not much of an improvement on the original. Coolest thing was seeing the Death Star being Pilotable.

Maybe type up a few paragraphs and elaborate on what's bad about it?
 
They should learn from their erroneus ways and make Jedi Knight IV...

There wasn't a "I've played this before" feel to it.

X-Wing. That was the ONLY starwars game I'd ever play.

The first Battlefront sucked some hardcore balls *15 lazers to kill a man? funk dat.*

And all in all, just...boring..

I wouldn't doubt you could find the installer on Bittorrent.

Battlefront 1 was a consolised POS. Didn't like it at all.
 
I want another JK game...I loved academy and outcast (outcast much more) and academy came out back in 2003..time for another one lucasarts!!

Ok, I downloaded the beta client from Fileplanet and checked my e-mail but I haven't got any cd-key. Is this some kind of mistake or what?

I LOVED Outcast, never ended up buying JA though.

Dark forces II was also AMAZING back in the day. God, those were some of the greatest single player games with some pretty cool multiplayer modes.
 
God-****ing-damnit.

After waiting/installing the beta im at about 60% through the installation and my computer restarts.

Now i just have the battlefrontiiengbeta1_1.exe.part and battlefrontiiengbeta1_1 files on my desktop but i dont know how i can continue my download, or if i even can. Is there a way?
 
This game'll go places, If they decide to the fix the horrible lag. o.o

Best StarWars game to date.
Jedi Knight 2 was really good, as was KotOR; but Jedi Knight comes for the win with story and level design.
 
btw, Can you alll stop turning this into a JK thread?

I got the lag fixed, forgot that you could adjust video settings...
Killed the pointless bloom, and voila... everything ran 500x smoother.

This game is excellent, and I highly recommend you get the beta...
Space battles are really nice, boarding an enemy ship... and planting detpacks in the main control room... flying out, and watching it blow up behind you... Movie moment.
 
Anyone else getting their game to freeze at some points during gameplay? It happened to me 3 times now, not very fun. :(
And it lagged pretty much for me too, not all the time but often.

But apart from that I really like it. It feels like they focused a little more on the MP compared to the previous.
And I got to play as Darth Vader once too, it was fun especially chocking the other players to death. :LOL:
