Starcraft 2 20 minute Zerg....

Well, we get to see him lose and then the second game cuts off before it can get good. :p Well, at least I know what it'll look like when I play now... pretty much exactly like SC 1! Build some drones, couple zerglings.... whoop I'm gettin' killed 'cause my opponent somehow has a billion guys now!

But really everything seems almost exactly like the first one... well from what I can tell from watching that spaz play. Seriously man, stop moving the god damn mouse for just a second... you don't have to select all of your drones every other second either!

Actually, don't listen to me... that might be the secret; selecting your drones... my record in Starcraft is something like 0-a lot. My specialty being annoying as **** to kill, but never winning. I don't say "gg" and quit like the guy in the movie... I send all my guys scattering all over the map to rebuild!

Thanks for the heads up, I'm afraid I haven't been keeping up with SC2.
 
After watching that, I'm pretty much sure that they will screw this game up.
 
I hope they replace all the old sounds with new ones before the release. Not that the old ones are bad or anything, but it'd be nice if they were updated along with the look.
 
As you could tell, most of the units had the same ol' sounds, except for the Zergling being the most prominent one. I'm sure there are going to be MANY more strats to use, as well. We saw him turn his 'lings into the kamikaze guys, so that will be epic. We've not really seen too much of the queen either, sadly. And yeah, that guy plays like a typical Korean...moving all over the place way too much.

I REALLY love the way this game looks so far. It's Starcraft, but with more.
 
I almost would prefer if they left the old sounds in tact. Just for the nostalgia.


or even better. have a mode with only the classic units in it. That'd be cool.
 
I'm sure someone will make a mod remaking SC1. The SC2 SDK is going to be epic, access to the in-game cinematics creator and the cut content made available for example.
 
Oh god, I can't wait to see what people will create with the Map Creator....

Man, every time I think of this game, I get all excited for it.
 
Looks more of the same, but thats a good thing. If they get the feel to be the same with all the added goodies then its win!

it still pisses me off that units can't run and shoot at the same time. So, half the time your units won't be doing anything 'cause they're running around stupidly trying to get somewhere where they can shoot.

Yeah, Supreme Commander did it pretty well. Horrid accuracy, but you're still moving/shooting.
 
That video was pretty boring, it didn't really show anything.

World in Conflict allows units to move and shoot and same thing with Universe at War.

If Starcraft 2 allowed this, it would own even more.
 
Dawn of War you can move and shoot, except for heavy weapons, of course..
also, azn is going batshit fast. I can't stand going that fast. That's why I stick to thinking games, I guess.

CoH has shooting while moving, but your units aren't as acurate when stationary. That feels like a good trade-off.
 
I don't think I would enjoy moving/shooting in this game. I can't imagine how hellish it would be. Thinking of this...

You're base is under attack by marines, and you have a few zealots that could easily wipe them out. Well, obviously, it would be dumb to have an attack and move at the same time melee character, so he has to stop for the second to hit. Well, the marines just keep running in circles, while the zealots are getting screwed in the chase.....would make ranged units a bit too powerful, imo.
