well Starcraft is sorta political ...I mean there's no concrete proof but I'm pretty sure the zerg were behind 9/11
 
I disagree, I think the communistic Terran probably collaberated with with the Protoss to overthrow our capitalistic ways... and forge a new government.
 
I hope Diablo3 isnt joining this MMO spree gaming companies are following...why cant they just create a normal RPG that has multiplayer support like Diablo2?

Diablo would make a weird ****ing MMO.
 
I doubt Blizz will make another mmo. A lot of WoW players played Diablo 2 and would probably like a third, and possibly switch over to it if it was released. The two together would then have a slightly higher number of players than WoW does now, and Blizzard would have to maintain servers and updates for two different games.

My guess is Diablo 3 will be like the other 2(= win).

And Diablo II was a good game, so what's the problem with that? I'd perfer a Diablo sequel that felt like Diablo as opposed to another crappy MMO.
 
Diablo 2 was alright. It was great at first, but it got monotonous and boring more quickly then you'd think. If they could find a way of changing it up a bit, not drastic changes, but some subtle stuff..yeah.
 
Am i the only one who isnt even slightly surprised. I mean we all new they where coming. All he really did was repeat whats in our minds.

Yes. However, recent studies show that you can keep a game genre the same and have it NOT be a total rehash! Incredible, I know.

Yeah, but to be perfectly honest, I'd rather have a Diablo FPS than a Diablo MMO.

Starcraft will do well as a 3D RTS, I hope thats what they do, or else.
Diablo 3 BETTER stay as a 2D hack'n'slash, or heads will fly, I'm talking to you, Blizzard.

That's what I thought...I might actually pay for that one, but I'd rather have it as an RTS to tell the story best.
 
I am a big fan of SC and would kill for a SC2 in RTS form. However a mmo in the SC universe would just work so well its hard to decide!:|
 
StarCraft 2 needs to be an RTS. If it isnt, some one is going to be disemboweled with a spork.

I heard a while ago that Diablo 3 was the same type of the game as the other two games, and set in heaven, assualted by Hell.

I already guessed they had 3 unannounced projects a week or 2 ago.
-Console team is making an unannounced game. These guys are the acquired Swingin Apes Studio's that were making Sc:G for 2 years then it was put on hold.
-Diablo team is making an unannounced game. These guys made Diablo's obviously... All jobs are RPG oriented
-Core(Blizzard Entertainment team) is making an unannounced game. These guys made the RTS's, all the jobs are RTS oriented(RTS Level Designer, Low Poly modeler)

You can figure this out by looking at there hiring page.
