Oh man, I don't even care what anyone says. This is going to be awesome. I smiled all the way through that trailer. Looks kickass.

Whether it can show as many subtle hints of irony or whatnot is void to me, I enjoyed the first movie regardless. But still, if it can, cool.

- Over the top firefights CHECK
- Giant Bugs CHECK

And the FX look about the same as they did in the first one, which is fine by me.

The CG looks way worse than in the first one. Its going to suck all around.
 
I can't believe after the trailer for the 3rd film, they haven't introduced the Humanoid Alien Race that was suppose to have an unwitting alliance with the Arachnids (in the books)
 
The special effects in this movie look worse than they did in the original back in 97.
 
If you thought the original SST had bad effects, you seriously need to get your eyes checked.
 
"On the bounce"... shit. There's no need to make believe like this or the other movies had anything to do with the book. :P

Don't get me wrong, I loved the first movie. It just has very little to do with the very excellent sci-fi book it was based on. Besides "On the bounce" doesn't make any sense in the context of the movie...
 
It looked kickass, exactly like the first.

I haven't seen the second, and I probably never will, but I'll probably pick this one up.
