steam cant shut down

every time I want to shut down steam, steam still keep running on the background, only thing I can do is ctrl alt del. and end proces steam.exe, does anyone have that too?

Yes, that and a number of other things; if it starts at all..

You have to be patient. I thought the same thing but i opened the task manager, check the steam process, waited like, 2 minutes and then boom, it was gone... Sometimes it takes more than 2 minutes... I don't know what it is doing, i know it is annoying but it closes after a while hope this will help
