Steam Client Beta Available

A new beta for Steam client is available. To access it go to File>Settings, and on Account tab pick Change... button. From drop down menu pick Steam Client Candidate.

• Added more download regions for Australia
  
• Fixed several update news links for games going to the wrong page
  
• Added more information to the game launch display when first-time install steps are being ran
  
• Several Steamworks updates
  
• Fixed HL2.exe hanging on shutdown

I'm not in the beta so I don't know if the details fit but I suspect that they might be catoring to the people who get free downloads from the Steam content servers that their ISP provides.
If true that's pretty awesome, when I was with Internode it was annoying trying to get steam downloads to go through the Internode content servers. I hope that the general Australia option is still there though.

Finally, i was getting fed up of it messing up the reliability results of Windows. I went from 9.8 to 1.2 thanks to that.
