Don't forget, Ragdoll Kung Fu is coming very soon. We should have a review up within the hour to aid you in your final decision to purchase the game or not.

Hmmm exe error, maybe its time for a reinstall of steam?

Just incase anyone doesn't know there is a large release gathering at #ragdollkungfu on quakenet IRC. :)

FEAR, Quake4, Serious Sam2..
damn.

bleh, I'm getting the error also, on my mods. And i guess the review won't make it in time for the the pre-release, oh well, I'm still very undecided on the game, it's pretty iffy.

The review is online now. We made it :)

this update was supposed to fix this problem, but it still persists. Here's the workaround dystopia players have been using:
Create a Desktop shortcut by right clicking on Dystopia in Steam. Then locate the new shortcut on your desktop, right-click and select "Properties". In the "Target" field, it should say something like:

"C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 220 -game "C:\program files\steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\dystopia"

Just change the "220" to "240" (which is the code for CS:S). I have no idea why this works, but it does. Enjoy!!

And here's another one from valve:
We have found the problem. You get this error if your steam path has a space in it (i.e c:\program files\valve\steam ). We are working on a fix, in the meantime you can work around the problem by moving Steam to a path without a space (i.e c:\steam ) and then deleting your ClientRegistry.blob.

The update didn't fix my problem. The shortcut idea did, but I refuse to use it anymore because no one seems to know what it is doing and if it's doing any damage.

I can gaurentee the shortcut won't do any damage, but if you don't like it here's a cleaner workaround:

Create a Desktop shortcut by right clicking on Dystopia in Steam. Then locate the new shortcut on your desktop, right-click and select "Properties". In the "Target" field, it should say something like:

"C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 220 -game "C:\program files\steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\dystopia"

Change the "program files" in the -game path to "progra~1" and it should work. eg.
"C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 220 -game "C:\progra~1\steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\dystopia"

Steam has been nice to me latley. Odd I had plenty of problems early on.

that shortcut idea did some fu***** damage...........no i have to install all my god damned games again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this the only time that i hate valve!!!!!!!!!!

omg...........somebody help me.........the shortcuts are all f'ed up now and there is no more icon for steam in the steam folder to make a shortcut from?
omg..........that damned shortcut idea screwed up everything!!!!!!!!!!

now i really think i have to re-install everything
