Today, a new announcement released to the Steam Universe group has revealed the progress the Steam Machine team are making regarding the Steam Machines and Steam Controllers. They are now using wireless prototype controllers for playtesting with a very large range of users, from casuals to developers.
Luckily for us, the team seem optimistic about the controller because of the huge amount of data they’re generating from the playtesting. However, it comes at the cost of the previously-projected release window, which has been shifted from late-2014 to 2015.
The team will continue taking feedback and suggestions on the Steam Universe discussion group. And, as always, we’ll be sure to keep you up-to-date with all the latest news about Steam Machines and the Steam Controller.
