Steam error servers too busy!

When i try to put in hy HL CD key to "Register a product I already own" it says STEAM ERROR servers too busy.
Is that normal?

No that's not normal. Try exiting steam and reopening it. If that doesn't work try rebooting your computer. I good reboot always help .

Oh, by the way there is no desert eagle in HL .

Edit: How is it normal? Most people I know have never had this problem.

Not really normal, no, but not unusual.

Try deleting your "ClientRegistry.blob" (assuming a default installation, it can be found in C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam).

There is on opposing force and i played half life through opposing force, if you know what i mean.

Make sure you add in the "-" into the cdkey, I was looking for the thread on steampowered.com about this problem, but I couldn't find it.
