STEAM FORUMS are corrupt!

Just a fair warning,Don't post anything about cheaters or a new cheat that you may have encountered on steampowered.com.They will ban you for it.
I had many threads about how to spot cheats,why people should not be harrassed for posting that they've seen XX amount of cheats in XX time,and everytime I posted these I got flamed like all hell.These people had no warnings or didn't get banned for being rude.People being completely ignorant to me for posting the truth that the game (CS:S ) is getting really bad. At first it was a random siting to see a cheater,now its pretty common. My threads were not junk threads,I didn't use profanity,I didn't use pwn lee7 ghey language.I did how ever get quite upset and asked the moderators why My threads kept getting closed.He told me because of all the question marks(profanity censored).I looked to see and there were absolutely NONE from me or anyone that replied. He then told me oh its because your stating the obvious. YEA exactly.If its that obvious then why isn't something being done about it.

I keep hearing VAC2 soon. Yea well I've also been hearing for 4 5 months that DOD:s will be out soon. I also remember that HL2 3 years ago was coming out soon. Their IDEA of soon is measured in years.

The problem I had was how contridicting Valve and these moderators were. They tell me that VAC2 will not get rid of all the cheaters.This I know.It will only get rid of the fly by night hackers. The inexperienced guy who gets lit up and decides to use a cheat to improve his score. I know all of this.My question is,if you're only going after the people that download the hacks and not the ones that actually make them or break into valve's software,then why is it taking this long? Its taking a long time and valve is making it SEEM like its going to be these grand anticheat software when we(gamers who've seen it before) know whats going to happen.An hour,a day maybe if we're lucky a week later the REAL hackers are going to be prancing around,showing use their cheats working with vac2 installed.

So why do we have to wait so long? I don't know. They could just patch it since its going to be through steam. They keep saying that they are waiting to surprise hackers but then say they aren't worried about the pro hackers. Makes no sense.

Sorry but it just frustrates me and to think I put together my system just for these games(hl2,cs,dods) only to have them ruined by cheaters with NO anticheat protection.

HL2 was only announced at E3 2003.

Yeah, I was going to say something about that. BTW you don't get banned from steampowered.com forum for post cheater id's, etc. You get banned for being an ass,troll, etc. You were obviously one of those.

Actually I wasn't being a troll or an ass.I stated a fact and they closed my threads because it was obvious.

But yet "what are your spec threads" which were tons of those weren't "obvious" threads?

The foul language,immature flames that I got when I would post ideas for a new CS were totally fine even AFTER reporting it.

I'm not complaining about the forum in general,Im stating a warning to others because I know there were alot of people posting "I found a cheater thread" and posting the cheaters steam ids and what not on their forums.These were not the type of threads I started.I simply started an eye opener thread to people that run servers and to other cs players.How to spot cheaters,How many times are good players going to be kicked before something is done.Since My threads got deleted with these warnings/tips,I figured I'd come here and warn others and give you the low down. But it seems Its pretty pointless since I'm in a (general off topic) forum and I still get "don't post this thread" type responses.

They must go hand in hand.

HL/CS/DOD = assholes with many coins to drop their 2 cents in every conversation as long as what they say is ignorant,rude,as immature as possible.

Well I figured I'd better come back and defend myself with this last post.

What is Bullshit about it? I said exactly what I posted.I posted threads about cheats and posted threads about encouraging people to post about cheats even if they get flamed.I told people to ignore the ignorant fools that say there are no cheats or that they've only seen 1 cheat.So what! Then you're lucky.I and some other steamforum users experienced cheats more then usual so I said to keep posting them.For 1 it will hurt valves business which is something they don't want if people start realizing that valve isn't concerned with making online fun for everyone,not just fun for cheaters. And 2 it will scare away people from buy HL2 which is something valve wouldn't want.So they kept closing my threads.So then I made a thread saying 3 of my threads were closed and bam they closed that one.Then I started a thread with the topic called if you plan on buying hl2,don't!Its full of cheaters and that one I knew was going to get closed. Then I started another HL2 thread while arguing with the moderators in other threads that I had that weren't closed yet.
I also Had a thread that had 60 some odd replies with some serious foul language censored at me and nothing was being done to those people.As soon as I replied Look this thread has some question marks,you'd better close it moderators,so they did.haha.Then they banned me.

So in a sense I knew I was getting banned but It all started from me writing posts about cheats and how bad CS has gotten with encouraging cheaters.I told people if they didn't believe me then just google CS cheats or hacks or any which way you can word it and you'll find page after page of cs:source cheats.I expected to find pages of 1.6 cheats but source?Wow it was amazing how easy and convenient it was to download source hacks.

I got "banned"probably for spamming and disrespecting the moderators but I got targeted as a threat to the company when I posted the truth about their lack of support to stop cheaters.
Vac2 has been supposedly coming out for how long?4 months now? Its not even going to stop half if not way less of the cheaters out there.Bring it out and patch it later.I hear its being beta tested now but who knows how long that will take.I'm not for rushing people when it comes to patches and what not but anticheats for an online game like CS:S should have been the first thing on valves list to do.Not a new map.

Been fun,I just wanted to defend my side and your all free to visit the steam forums to verify my "story".I had my flame wars as well as decent discussions there but as some of you know,flames come the instant you post ANYTHING in that forum so its common knowledge to be ready to lash back.
